S-koko vastaa aika hyvin perusmitoitusta, eli on sopiva kokoa EU 34 ja 36 käyttävälle. Koska veden- ja tuulenpitävä kangas ei jousta, tässä voi myös ottaa omaa kokoa yhtä suuremman mitoituksen.
